No Reply 05:29
Had a feeling you weren’t happy, (How would you know?) Not a whisper, Not a sound, (But you never spoke to me) Got a feeling that if everybody knew my name, Then fate will fall, Then let it be so. The Letters that I wrote, Are faded now in hope, Like your prayers are, The Letters that you wrote, Are lain by this road, To the winds they have been thrown, You never did reply to me, You never did return to me, You never gave your love to me, There was always something missing, sure, Like a film that's screened without its score, The mood is set in these four walls, A wall for each expression falls, They do to me in fading light, What could be called obsession, I stole the perfect picture so, Held it so close to me, so close, Then let it be so... Your love to me. The Letters that I wrote, Are faded now in hope, Like your prayers are, The Letters that you wrote, Are lain by this road, To the winds they have been thrown, You never did reply to me, You never did return to me, Never gave your love to me,

Traffic 04:23
Late night, Light the street lights and, Embrace life, and the traffic fades,....it fades. The city wakes before the sun, The river washes through and on, The cars, the people, the street life urges on, Amidst the traffic, I hear laughter through the rain, The sub way trains, for us, while the great they'll take the plane's. The Restaurants lie bare now, The stations fares have gone, And people sleep in doorways. Just People watching, Clear skies, turning grey, Time to join the pedestrian ways, Take shelter from the rains of the day, Till this traffic fades, till another day.

Where is my Mind With your feet in the air and your head on the ground Try this trick and spin it, yeah Your head will collapse But there's nothing in it And you'll ask yourself And you'll ask yourself Where is my mind [3x] I was swimmin' in the Caribbean Animals were hiding behind the rocks Except the little fish But they told me, he swears Tryin' to talk to me, coy koi. With your feet in the air and your head on the ground Try this trick and spin it, yeah Your head will collapse But there's nothing in it And you'll ask yourself And you'll ask yourself Where is my mind [3x] And you'll ask yourself And you'll ask yourself Special thanks to Black Francis for writing such an iconic tune, big love to the Pixies..

The Unwinding Coil. Tempus. - June 2011 Watching as the stars unfold, The rivers, trees, the rain, I missed them all, I loved them all, Waiting as the flags unfurl, The gover- ment, the law's, the pretty girls, I loved them all, I miss them all. And I miss them all.......... You walked into my life, and stripped me of my pride, Of my unwinding coil, I've left before my time, But fame and fortune called, You, your fortune's told, I wish you well, Falling at the feet of God, The innocence, the Love, is - all gone, I pray you'll love, and I wish you well, I wish you well, I wish you, I wish you well I wish you well The stars they all unfold tonight, I wish you well And I miss you girl.

Soham Rain 03:44
Rushing, across fields that once were green, A fire in the breeze, The embers on the sea If I had - a penny for the rain, This pretty rain, Such pretty rain, The farewell prayers, In the rain, This rain, All so frail. So frail Lightening Strikes, Upon this face, Free......at last.

Sunday 04:17
Sunday. It was a Sunday afternoon, The kids were playing by the pool, So picture perfect, so untrue, She took her coat, and walked on through, It was a Sunday back in June, She takes her fathers eyes, He makes no compromise, This child breaks in two, They know not what they do, And the Bitter words - will follow through, It was a sunny day in bloom, The skylark whistled on it's tune He takes her picture from the bed, Considers things he should of said, And what the Monday could’ve been, It could have been. And As the silence starts to fall, An empty feeling fills them all, If life had turned a different way, They could reflect, perhaps have stayed, And for the Monday, gone so soon, (I am lost without your love,) It was a Sunday, back in June, Your Love Lost in June, Lost in you.

A Return to the Fray. They wanted to be strong, They wanted to be, oh so strong, They wanted to be free, They wanted to be free, just like me, But they failed, They were failed - failed by me. Does anybody know, Does everybody fear, Did anybody feel - like I feel, Does everybody share, Does anybody Care, Did anybody bleed - the way I do. And they gave - but did they really have to go and stay, They say it breaks no law, to take an innocent to war, I cant save this child, from life's disease, We didn’t have to stay, There must be another way, Bring us back now, Give it back now, Take me home......................... Does anybody know, Does everybody fear, Did anybody feel - like I feel, Does everybody share, Does anybody Care, Did anybody bleed - the way I do. Does anybody know, Does anybody care, Did everybody feel - like I feel, If every soul that's here, could shed a silent tear, Could Everybody bleed - the way they do.

I want to have every part, I wanted to take hold of my heart, I feel now Iam ready to show, A feeling I just can't conceal anymore, Whenever you're young, this feeling inside, This burning desire, a feeling of pride, I stand here and why, my life burns the fire, I am watching my flame, it's been burning on, on......... I see it in their eyes, That diamond light is mine, I see what's ahead for me, and I shine on and on.... and on. I feel inside, the breath of all my crimes, Leading to all, well and I tried, The stage is set, The lighting glows, Enter the hope, And in my time, I believe, I must turn and complete, Any hold on my life, that is free and deceived, And Iam holding on........

Torridon 06:02
The faded whites of these snow capped fells, and mist that shrouds him.. well, Faintly…….The Stag steps from the glen. On the quiet hill, He stands, so strong.... At the Torridon Fair, she’ll take your hand and lead you there A fire burns within the soul, with a heart all shades of gold,.. The summer rains are in the air, and the red skies of the fair,.. the fair, A boat lies cast aside the shore, returns its timbers to god and rests in auld folklore, Of kings and men who stood and fought for so much more, The great Northern lights, the rise the fall, that guide them all, On this quiet hill, Their spirit lives on… Deserted barns, the empty crofts, the tumbled ruins, of what once was, Redundant rail tracks, the fallow mills, the ghosts of steel, of steam are all but, heather now,

Yugen 04:03
Yugen (A Song For Pamela) The morning sun it hides, Behind the drawn blind, It cuts the air, Like broken shards, In a dusty room. We embrace the day, With open arms, And celebrate, With childish charm. The still un-woken mind, With thoughts of you in time, Remembered dreams, Of roses in a stream, Like tears in the rain, Like roses in a stream. So scared to lose, What has been found, So scared of living, With my feet upon this ground, And the flowers scattered on the stair, And the roses drift from here to there. It was all we ever had….. Relieved the night has come, Relieved the day has gone, Love is still here, And love it is still here, To greet the new days dawn…

about

Yugen

“”to be so mysteriously faint and profound as to be beyond human perception and under- standing.”

“a profound, mysterious sense of the beauty of the universe… and the sad beauty of human suffering”

“To watch the sun sink behind a flower clad hill. To wander on in a huge forest without thought of return. To stand upon the shore and gaze after a boat that disappears behind distant islands. To contemplate the flight of wild geese seen and lost among the clouds. And, subtle shadows of bamboo on bamboo.”

Zeami Motokiyo.
